How it works

  • Self-contained. The widget ships its own copy of the pinned 2026.v2 dataset (19 reviewed jurisdictions), generated from the same snapshot that powers our state pages. It makes no external calls to load.
  • No cookies, no tracking, no keys. It sets nothing on your visitors and phones nothing home.
  • Attribution built in. The widget always shows a “Data: TheTrustedAdvisor.com” link back to our comparison hub, alongside a “reviewed by” link to the dataset’s review record. Please leave them in place — that link is the deal.
  • Honestly dated. It carries the dataset version and its checksum so anyone can see exactly which data they’re looking at. When we publish a new version, re-grab the code to update.
